Associate Professor Ts. Dr. TAN, TSE GUAN

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. TAN was born in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He received the Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons) in Software Engineering, the Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and the Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science from Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS), Malaysia, in 2006, 2008 and 2013, respectively.

Currently, Dr. Tan is the Deputy Dean of Research and Innovation at the Faculty of Creative Technology and Heritage, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK), Malaysia. He has been appointed as the Head of E-Learning Unit at Centre for Teaching and Learning, UMK. Over the years, he has won various national and international awards and recognitions including the Virtual Immersive Learning Experience Award, the Outstanding E-Learning Product/Project Award and the Best Innovation, Invention and Design in Massive Open Online Course (MOOC). He has authored and co-authored more than 50 journals/book chapters, conference papers, and served on the organizing committees of numerous national and international conferences and workshops.
